This event will bring together Academia, Industry and Government to consider all of the issues associated with Hybrid & Eco-friendly Vehicles that will have to be addressed to ensure their future success.

Building on the success of the HEVC 06, the conference will further explore issues, discuss ideas and build links throughout the eco-friendly vehicle sector.

Involving political, economic, social, technological and legislative considerations to ensure that the impact of the technology is fully understood, the event will promote the sharing of knowledge from a wide range of stakeholders through dissemination, workshops and networking to better understand each other's perspective.

As such, papers are invited in the general area of hybrid, electric and eco-friendly vehicles. It is intended that the event will be broad-ranging, and contributions on technology, strategy or policy are encouraged, and may relate to any aspect of road transport.

Companies involved or associated with the eco-friendly vehicle industry are also invited to exhibit at the event.
